PPA295 Totally Awesome!

When I saw this color challenge, 

I pulled this DSP and then wanted to use this new stamp set.  

The card started to come together fast. Lastly, I added the border at the bottom 

and the top and it felt complete!

I did hand cut the large flower from the set and added a in color

blossom accent on top for some more depth!

Card Boxes For April Class

These are three of the four colors of boxes I made

 for my April card class guest to carry their cards home from class!

I used some textured retired in colors card stock cut at 11" sq and then used some retired 

DSP matching the colors up!

I used some retired twine to pull them all together.

GDP030 Loved A Lot!

I never do this...but decided to reach my hand in my cut card stock box 

with my eyes closed  and pull out a color for the base and go from there!

Pulled Lost Lagoon and then looked on my friend Brian King's color combos

for colors to add to Lost Lagoon (stampwithbrian.com). 

 The first one was Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand  and Very Vanilla! 

 Perfect to show the Lost Lagoon retiring soon!

Really enjoying the elements in the Grateful Bunch stamp set!

My punch is due today and will be put to much use.

PP289 To A Classic

I do not own any current western like stamp sets but immediately thought 

of this very vintage set I have called Wanted!

I think I have kept it all these years because I love horses!

I started here with a piece of Sahara Sand and stamped the horse three times

to mimic a running motion. Added lots for background and then reached for 

my Cajun Craze which for some reason I think of for western like 

stuff! Grabbed an antique brad to finish the element off and added some 

linen thread behind it. 

The hard part was to add a sentiment or not and what sentiment and font to match up.  

I am glad I thought of my Guy Greetings set and this

sentiment works for me!

Bitty Butterflies!

Last Card for classes this week! 

 I made this one first and then the Hello Honey

version I posted last week.  

I added some gold thread for a wisp behind the card. 

 No sure how to apply it right.  

I did punch out the butterfly in the middle for some depth. 

It is my owe to 2014-2016 in colors that are leaving us soon.  

Stock up on these colors now...refills, ink pads, card stock, etc.

I used the 1/2" circle punch to make the corners.

Tea-riffic Mother's Day Card!

Fourth card for class this next week and a Mother's Day card!  

The Mother's Day is stamped inside so this card can be used for other occasions if choose.

I was trying to keep it simple but there are so many elements to stamp

 and die cut, it was hard not to use many!

I love the tea pot.  My mom collects them and I know she 

will love this card!
