Love Notes

Happy New Year's Eve!
A little Valentine's Day teaser...

I put my make and take with the love notes together
after coming home from Onstage in Nov.
Then they got buried with other projects on top until I finally
cleaned up my messy room and when I saw them I knew I had not photographed
them for my blog yet.
I did not put them together just like the photo SU! provided.
I do really like the new DSP paper stack called Sending Love.
Lots of Real Red and White happening!
The set is called Sealed With Love and has lots of cute elements in the suite like the
wooden hearts, mini paper clips and some grosgrain ribbon.
Best of all it comes with matching dies called Love Notes framelits dies
which have an adorable small envelope die. Great bundle in the Occasions
catty that starts Jan. 4th, 2017.
I hope you have a blessed New Year's Eve and thanks for stopping by!

Hope

I am trying to use up the Fancy Frost DSP I have been
hoarding for months.
I used sponge dauber with
Island Indigo, Pool Party and then Soft Sky.
Tried for a little water look for my flower.
No stamping since I used all dies on the front.
That happens sometimes!
I hope you have a fab Friday!

Just A Note

I saw a card in my Stampin' Success magazine (SU! magazine
for demos) I wanted to case.
I used the Inside the Lines DSP from the
SAB(sale-a-bration) catty which starts Jan. 4th, 2017
You can earn the DSP for free with a $50.00 order from Jan. 4th thru
March 31st, 2017.
I sponged on the three colors with the sponge rollers.
I started with Crushed Curry, Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral.
Then I spritzed it with Watermelon Wonder ink I placed in a Stampin' Spritzer
with a little rubbing alcohol.
Mounted it to a Basic Black base and added a sentiment from
Flourishing Phrases and a die from Rose Garden.
Hope you have a blessed Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

More Dragonflies!

Yes, more dragonflies are always best!
I started this card with the Fancy Frost DSP.
I sponged Blushing Bride over it and when done it looked
like Sweet Sugarplum. So I added some glimmer ribbon!
I die cut the dragonflies and placed on my background.
They looked nice but a plain. Adding pearls really did the trick!
I just did a quick sentiment but used on half. The other
half says "and everything else."
Hope you enjoy your Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!

Special Day Dragonfly!

I attempted to case a Peggy Noe card but it did not quite work.
My friend Peggy at prettypapercards.com designs the most beautiful cards.
I started with background paper called Fancy Frost Specialty DSP.
I sponged the Mint Macaron but it was darker than I wanted and then
I sponged the Rich Razzleberry in the corners.
I used the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits to cut a Rich Razzleberry dragonfly
and then I cut the same one in vellum. I sponged the vellum in Mint Maracon
and layered on top. It looked plain so I tried to stamp the body stamp
on the middle of the vellum but it did not look right so I took the sponged and ran it down
then added a little sponging on top of the vellum and finished it with pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

GDP067 Sharing In Your Sorrow

I wanted to use a tree that goes unused a lot!
I grabbed my Thoughts & Prayers set and thought I can always
use a sympathy card at ready in my stash.
I started by inking the background stamp from You've Got This
set and then stamped it off once before stamping on white.
I then stamped the tree in Night of Navy and the sentiment.
Layered the images on Night of Navy and some Floral Boutique DSP.
I added some Mint Macaron ribbon.  It turned out soft and pretty.

I hope you can along with the theme challenge over at
global-design-project.com

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
