Merry Christmas Red Bird

 

Another card using the Nests of Winter suite. Garden Green base with a strip of the Nests of winter DSP. I cut the bird from another print of the DSP and also cut the Garden Green leaves to add. I have a strip of white stamped with the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink from the Christmas Scottie set retired and a strip of Cherry Cobbler to layer. I finished off with some Garden Green gems from Earth Tone Shimmer gems.

Tree Tops Merry Christmas

 

I sat and cut out lots of birds from the Nests Of Winter DSP with the matching dies called Winterly Tree Tops dies. Now to make a lot of Christmas cards with them. I posted one yesterday with the two blue birds and today with the red bird. I have a Garden Green base and then a layer of the DSP with tree bark print then on top I cut from the dies this detailed leaves overlay. I then stamped the swag in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored it with my dark Granny Apple Green and dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blends markers. I cut it with the matching die and added a green twine bow. I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Christmas Scottie set which is retired on white card stock in Real Red ink and cut with the Everyday Details label die.

Winterly Merry Christmas

 

I think it may be hard to see but I did use the Birch Wood embossing folder for the background with white card stock. I layered it on a white base after then a piece of Nests Of Winter DSP on top. I then cut four Garden Green leaves to add at the seem. I cut the birds out from the DSP with the matching dies and then stamped the swag in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored with the Stampin Blends markers in Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler. I cut it out with the dies and layered my birds on. I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Scottie which is retired on white card stock in Real Red ink and hand snipped out to pop up. I finished with some Earth Tones Shimmer gems in Garden Green.

Celebrate Today

 

Another birthday card using the Thoughtful Journey and Designs DSP. I have a Petunia pop base and added the layer of Thoughtful Designs specialty paper on top. I wrapped the iridescent stripped trim around with bow before attaching. I cut the Mossy Meadow circle and the Thoughtful Journey DSP one with the Spotlight On Nature dies. I cut a few branches from the Changing Leaves dies with the same specialty paper. I stamped the sentiment from the retired Itty Bitty Greetings set in Blackberry Bliss ink on white card stock and cut it with the Changing Leaves dies. I stamped the inside white card stock with the Unbounded love Happy Birthday sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.

Happy Magnolia Birthday

 

I have another birthday card today which was cased from the amazing Narellefarrugia.net  I have a Blackberry Bliss base and added a layer of Basic Beige card stock and a layer of Country Lace DSP. I cut the circles from Basic Beige and Blackberry Bliss card stock with the Spotlight On Nature dies. I then stamped the flowers and buds a few times with the Magnolia Mood set on white card stock and colored them with the Stampin blends markers in Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lime Twist and Shaded Spruce. I cut them all out with the matching dies and arranged over the circles. I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss from same set on a white label cut from the Changing Leaves dies. I finished with some Blackberry Bliss transparent dots.

Spotlight For You

 

This card is coming off lighter than true color. I have a Blackberry Bliss base and I used the thoughtful Designs specialty paper in Petunia Pop. I cut two circles from the Spotlight On Nature dies white and Blackberry Bliss and stamped on the white one in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Spotlight On Nature set. I colored the flowers with Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, and Bubble Bath Stampin Blends markers as well as the leaves in Mossy Meadow. I stamped the sentiment from the retired Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in Versamark ink on Blackberry Bliss card stock to heat emboss in white powder. I cut it out with the Changing Leaves dies. I finished off with the in color shimmer gems in Petunia Pop. I stamped Happy Birthday inside in Blackberry Bliss ink from the Unbounded Love set.

Just For You

 

I needed to make 4 birthday cards for October (my heaviest month for birthdays) and so I grabbed the beautiful Thoughtful Journey DSP for several of them you will see over the next four posts. Today, I have a Petunia Pop base and a layer of Blackberry Bliss card stock with the DSP print. I ran the Petunia pop bordered ribbon around before attaching. I stamped the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Spotlight On Nature set on the white circle cut with the matching dies. I colored them with the Stampin Blends markers in Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Bubble Bath. I stamped the sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set in Blackberry Bliss. I finished off with some in color shimmer gems in Petunia Pop. I also stamped a Happy Birthday inside on white card stock in Blackberry Bliss from the same Unbounded Love set.
