Just For You

I needed to make 4 birthday cards for October (my heaviest month for birthdays) and so I grabbed the beautiful Thoughtful Journey DSP for several of them you will see over the next four posts. Today, I have a Petunia Pop base and a layer of Blackberry Bliss card stock with the DSP print. I ran the Petunia pop bordered ribbon around before attaching. I stamped the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Spotlight On Nature set on the white circle cut with the matching dies. I colored them with the Stampin Blends markers in Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Bubble Bath. I stamped the sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set in Blackberry Bliss. I finished off with some in color shimmer gems in Petunia Pop. I also stamped a Happy Birthday inside on white card stock in Blackberry Bliss from the same Unbounded Love set.
Hope you have a sweet Thursday and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking Of Autumn

I loved playing with this DSP and metallic effects again. I have a Cherry Cobbler base, a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock ran through with the Changing Leaves embossing folder. I then have another mat of Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Splendid Autumn DSP, Before attaching, I did run some Cherry twine around with a bow. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink from the Winterly Tree Tops set on a white Changing Leaves label die. I embossed and cut out the Mossy Meadow leaves and added Copper Metallic Enamel Effects with a sponge dauber to the leaves. I like how fast it dries.
Hope you day is filled with blessing and thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Autumn

I was having fun with more Splendid Autumn DSP and putting metallic on my leaves for my card today and check back tomorrow for another. I have a Cajun Craze base with a layer of the DSP in Crushed Curry watercolor. Before placing it down, I did cut a circle for my sentiment stamped in Cajun Craze ink from the Autumn Leaves set with the Spotlight On Nature dies. I also cut a Cajun Craze circle with same dies for layering. I love the sunflower print of the DSP. I then cut/embossed a large leave in Mossy Meadow card stock from the Changing Leaves dies. I used a sponge dauber to add the Metallic Enamel Effects in gold to the leaf. I finished with a bit of gold thread.
Wishing you a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

So love the Splendid Autumn DSP! I used two prints here. I then stamped the sentiment from the Changing Leaves set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a label cut with the Changing Leaves dies and Basic Beige card stock. I added some linen thread and a few fine purple gems to finish it off.
Hope you have a beautiful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Winter Skates & Sled

This the second card I made from the Sophisticated Sled bundle this week. I love Pool Party and Real Red together, so I knew I had to make one in these colors.  I have a white base and a layer of Pool Party card stock then a layer of DSP from the Nests Of Winter DSP pack. I then cut the greenery from Granny Apple Green card stock and the sled from Smoky Slate and Real Red card stocks. I stamped the skates on white in Basic Gray ink and cut with dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie retired set in Real Red ink and cut it with the die from Everyday Details dies. I finished off with more red rhinestones colored with Cherry cobbler Stampin Blends marker.
Hope you have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

A Merry Skate and Sled Christmas

I very much enjoyed playing this week with the new Sophisticated Sled bundle. I have a white base and added some Garden Green card stock then another layer of white to frame my To market DSP in plaid. I then cut the sled in Basic Gray and Real Red card stock plus the greenery in Garden Green. I stamped the skates in Pecan Pie ink on white card stock and cut with dies. I stamped the sentiment from a retired set called Christmas Scottie in Real Red ink on a white circle cut from the Changing Leaves dies.
I finished off with some red rhinestones I colored with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin blends marker.
My daughter asked me to make her two cards to give friends and bring with me when i see her next month. Check back tomorrow for the another card!

Hello Fall With The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is “All Creatures Great and Small.” We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

This card is giving fall vibes and I love red birds! I wanted to use the Country Birdhouse bundle but with fall colors. I used a Crumb Cake base which is hidden underneath the beautiful wood print of DSP called Country Woods. I then cut a Crumb Cake hanger from the dies and cut out the birdhouse, too after stamping it on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring with my Stampin Blends markers. I used Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, and Crumb Cake. I then stamped the bird also on white and colored with my blends in dark Cherry cobbler and dark Peach Pie. I wanted more fall so I grabbed my Autumn Leaves set and stamped the leaves twice. Once on Cherry Cobbler in Pecan pie ink and once on Mossy Meadow in same color ink. I cut them with matching dies. I finished it off with the sentiment from Irresistible Blooms stamp set stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on white card stock cut with the Unbounded Love dies. This card is about to go out to my girl away at school that I am missing like crazy!

There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. We hope you will come back for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “Orange Theory.”

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

    Everyday Magic Of Autumn

Well, I want to say I am back posting but I not sure if it will be consistent! I did make this card last week to send to my daughter up north and I have to say I just love this new designer paper in the holiday mini catty called Splendid Autumn. I layered it with some Crushed Curry and a Cajun Craze base and then stamped the sentiment in Early espresso ink from the Something Fancy stamp set on more Crushed curry. I cut it out with the Countryside Corners dies and wrapped some linen thread and bow around before attaching all.  I finished it off with a few adhesive-backed textured dots and sent it off to my girl!
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
