PP471 Beautiful Season

I have not used nearly enough snowflakes this year!
I decided to grab the snowflakes from Seasonal Layers dies
in gold foil for this color challenge by LeAnne today.
I stamped the background on white card stock with my
Seaside Spray ink and my D size clear block.
I added the snowflakes and some rhinestones colored
with my Seaside Spray Stampin Blends marker.
I stamped the sentiment from So Many Stars in Golden Glitz ink.
I layered with more gold foil and place on my Crumb Cake base.
Super quick and elegant.
Hope you have a wonderful day and come over to
thepaperplayers.blogspot.com to play along with our last challenge for 2019!

Thanks for stopping by!

Casing The Mini With Parisian Beauty

I love playing with the new Parisian suite in the mini catalog
starting in January 2020. I decided to case this one from the
catalog on page 14. I used Lovely Lipstick card stock for the base
and a piece ran though the Parisian Flourish emboss folder.
I used the Frost White shimmer paint rubbed over with a sponge.
I though it would be lighter but I still like the pearl-like effect.
I cut the center with a Layering Oval die to make a window.
I added the Crumb Cake card stock stamped with the script stamp
from Parisian Beauty in Lipstick ink.
I stamped the tower on white in Soft Suede and cut it with matching die
called Parisian dies. I also stamped the flowers from Forever Blossoms set
in Soft Suede and colored with Stampin Blends markers in Old Olive
and Petal Pink. I hand snipped the flowers since do not have the dies yet.
I stamped the sentiment from Forever Blossoms with Soft Suede ink.
It turned out so adorable!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Thanks for stopping by!

FMS414 Tropical Congratulations

I am over the moon excited with this Tropical Oasis suite!
Also excited to use in this sketch from freshlymadesketch.blogspot.com
I used the stamp set called Timeless Tropical and the matching dies
called In The Tropics with the designer paper called Tropical Oasis.
I also love the Coastal Weave 3D emboss folder which I used here with the
Crumb Cake card stock and then rubbed a bit of Crumb Cake ink over it.
I cut the pineapple in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive card stocks.
I stamped over them with the leaf stamp in the set in Crushed Curry
on the yellow and Old Olive ink on the green.
I popped them up on the background and added some of the awesome DSP
on the side plus a strip of white stamped in Pretty Peacock ink
from the Well Said stamp set. I added it all to a Crumb Cake base
and finished it off with some linen thread around the pineapple die.
You might see this suite a lot from me so get ready!

Hope you can play along this week!
Thanks for stopping by!

GDP218 A Lily Pad Get Well

I saw two water lilies when I saw this sketch..probably
because I really wanted to use this new bundle and paper
from the SAB(sale-a-bration) brochure which starts in January 2020.
You can earn these products free when you buy from the
annual catalog and the new mini catalog which starts also in Jan.
I grabbed this beautiful designer print from the Lily Impressions DSP
and fell in love with the purple in it. Yes, purple is my fav color and
I love to create with it, too!
I added it to the white base and the stamped the flowers
from the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and cut it out with the
matching dies called Lily Pad dies.
I stamped the lilies in Blackberry Bliss and colored them with the
Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends markers.
I stamped the lily pads in Pretty Peacock on Pool Party
card stock and cut them out. I placed them side by side
and layered my flowers on.
I stamped the sentiment from another new stamp set
called Timeless Tulips in Blackberry Bliss ink and a white banner.
I finished it off with a pink rhinestone.
Hope you enjoy your day and come play over at

FF0048 Parisian Inspired

Glad to play with some new products coming out in the
new mini catalog in January 2020.
I used the stamp set and dies bundle called Parisian Beauty
plus the sentiment from a coordinating set called Forever Blossoms.
I decided to use the black & white, pink, pearls picks for
the challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com
The sentiment I chose could also be friendship themed.
I started with the Basic Black card stock for the background and
ran it through to emboss with the new Parisian Flourish emboss folder.
I added it to a white base.
I cut the white tower out with the Parisian dies and added a flower from
the Parisian Beauty set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on white
and colored with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends markers.
I stamped the sentiment in black ink on the Flirty Flamingo strip.
I finished it off with some pearls on the strip as well as one
for the flower's center.

Hope you can play along and
thanks for stopping by today!

Hello Timeless Tropical Set

Playing around with some more of the Tropical Oasis suite today.
I ran a piece of Grapefruit Grove card stock through with the
Coastal Weave emboss folder and then rubbed some
Soft Suede ink on to "antique" it.
I layered it on a Whisper White base.
I stamped the hibiscus flower on white with the Memento Tuxedo Black
ink fro the Timeless Tropical and then colored with Calypso Coral
and Pineapple Punch Stampin Blends markers.
I cut it out with the matching die from In The Tropics dies.
I stamped the leaves in Old Olive and colored them with the
light Soft Sea Foam Stampin Blends and cut them with matching dies, too.
I cut more small leaves with in Old Olive card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from same set in Soft Suede on white
and cut it out with a tag die from the Ornate Frames dies set.
I added a double linen thread bow to the tag.
I also rubbed some Wink Of Stella on the center of the flower
but not it shows up in the photos.

I used the Let It snow bundle along with the a pillow box
for Laurie's challenge today!
I stamped the snowman from Snowman Season set
in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it in  with Smoky Slate,
Pumpkin Pie, and Petal Pink.
I colored the hat with Basic Black, Real Red, Shaded Spruce
and Pool Party Stampin Blends markers.
I used the Snowman builder punch for these plus the arms in Soft Suede.
I popped him on a Real Red stitched shape die
and added some puff paint to his buttons.
I cut the snowflakes in Pool Party from Christmas Layers dies.
I wrapped some Let It Snow DSP around the box after
