Beary Cute Winter Fun Fold

 

I thought I had shared this card I made mid November for a swap card but saw I had not. I used the Beary Christmas suite to make a a fun fold. I have a card base in Very Vanilla and I scored it 2 1/4" on each end to make the gate fold. I added panels of the Beary Christmas DSP to each side on the outside of the card. Inside, I added a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock and a piece of Very Vanilla stamped with the small bear from the Beary Cute set and a snowflake in Misty Moonlight ink. For the band, I have a piece of Misty Moonlight at about 1 3/4" thick. I cut a Real red Deckled Circle to pop my bear on. I stamped the bear in Misty Moonlight ink on white card stock along with the hat. I punched out the bear with the Beary Cute punch and hand snipped the hat. I finished off with a Real red scarf on the the bear and some Misty Moonlight gems around the bear.

Love & Joy Gift Bags

 

I had fun decorating a few more bags in Kraft with the Joy Of Noel gingham print DSP and the Merriest Trees bundle. I stamped the tree on white card stock in Lemon Lime Twist ink and cut with matching dies. I then cut the Real Red lights from that color card stock. I punched out the Crushed Curry star with a retired mini star punch. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock from the same stamp set and hand snipped it out.

Star Ornament

 

I made this ornament for my Christmas tree which is decorated in silver and gold. A friend gave me the gold 3" macramé hoop she bought in a pack at the craft store. I added gold trim and then cut a piece of the Shining Brightly DSP and a piece of vanilla card stock with my Stylish Shapes dies in a circle and attached them together with the trim running though the middle. I added a distressed gold star cut from the Stars At Night dies and then another small star in gold foil before adding the star trinket to the center. Mini Calendar For You

Every fall I buy some mini tear off calendars from Tayloredexpressions.com to add to my calendars and to make a few for others. I made this one for a friend using the Fresh As A Daisy DSP, Moody Mauve and Bubble Bath card stocks. I layered the card front just like I would making a card and ran some Wild Wheat ribbon around. I used tear tape to add my calendar on the bottom. I then cut a 4 1/4" by 3" piece of the Moody mauve card stock and scored it in the middle and a little on the ends to make a stand for my card. Super simple!

Joy Of Christmas

 

The paper does all the work today! I used a white base and added Shaded Spruce card stock and a layer of the Joy Of Christmas DSP. I then cut a Real Red label from the Christmas Classics dies and some branches in gold foil and others in Real Red and Shaded Spruce card stocks. I cut the letters from another print of the DSP with the Joy Of Noel dies. I used a strip of the that plaid paper to add behind the red label across. I added some red rhinestones for bling.

A Musical Noel

 

I used the Joy Christmas suite for this card with a Real Red base and a layer of the Joyful DSP. I cut the detailed die in Shaded Spruce card stock with the Christmas Classics dies as well as the gold foil branches. I stamped the sentiment in real red ink on white card stock from the Joy Of Noel set and cut it with the matching dies. I finished off with some red rhinestones.

Christmas Beary Cute Tags

 

I buy one wick candles from Bath and Body Works each year for the supervisors in the children's program at my Bible study. I put them in the cello bags the store gives and I then design a tag to go on them. This year I thought it would be cute to use the Beary Christmas suite. I stamped the bear from the Beary Cute set on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink plus the scarf in Real Red ink. I punched it out with the matching punch and popped it on the Real Red tag cut from the retired Celebrations Tags dies and a little of the Beary Christmas DSP. I used some Misty Moonlight inner braid ribbon to tie on with a small amount of Real Red twine at the top.

PP670 Everyday Details

 

I am using a new bundle coming in the spring mini catalog from SU! in January called Everyday Details for Claire's color challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com  I have a Tahitian Tide base and a white layer plus a piece of  Melon Mambo ran through with a new embossing folder called Softly Sophisticated you will find in the SAB (sale-a-bration ) brochure and can earn for free. I then stamped the image on a piece of white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Everyday Details stamp and cut with the detailed die from the Everyday Details dies. I added a Deckled rectangle Basic Black piece behind. I colored the image with my Stampin Blends markers in Real red and Tahitian tide plus the Melon Mambo stampin write marker. I finished it off with some Tahitian Tide shiny ribbon and Real Red rhinestones.

My card today is with the Winter Meadow suite in the SU! holiday catalog. I love all the colors and this beautiful DSP which can stand alone but for more color and texture, I added lots of die cuts as well. I stamped the sentiment from the Magical Meadow set in Highland heather ink on white card stock and cut with the Deckled Rectangle dies plus another with in Highland Heather card stock. Behind, I added die cuts from the Magical Meadow dies using Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Moody Mauve card stocks. I added placed some silver trim behind plus a few Gorgeous Grape glossy dots around the sentiment.

I made this same card last month in Real Red plaid instead of the Shaded Spruce plaid on the side. I have a white base then a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock then a white piece stamped with the sentiment in Real red ink from the Joy Of Noel set. I added a strip of plaid from the Joy Of Christmas DSP and one from the Joyful DSP in gold. I stamped the large image on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with my Stampin Blends markers in  Real Red, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce then cut out with matching dies from Joy Of Noel dies. I cut two leaves from the Christmas Classics dies for more textures and finished with a black/vanilla bow and gold dots.

Mark's Rockin' Birthday Card

 

Celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday and he had bought himself a blue Fender which I tried to match by coloring with my Stampin Blends markers. I bought the new DSP from the spring mini catalog called Rock & Roll DSP. It has guitars on a few sheets so I colored one with my light Misty Moonlight Stampin Blends marker and hand snipped it out. You can see the match in the third photo. 

I have a Basic Black base and a sheet of the DSP on the background. I the cut two new dies in white and black from the Everyday Details dies also new from the spring mini. I stamped the music symbols on with Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the Enjoy The Rhythm set. Popped my blue guitar on and stamped from the same set the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on a strip of white card stock. Inside, I stamped from the same set in Memento Tuxedo Black and Misty Moonlight inks.

A super simple card here from the Night Divine set and the Stars At Night set and dies. I have a Night of Navy base and a piece of white cards tock layered on top stamped with the large sentiment from Night Divine in Wild Wheat ink. I the stamped the star from the Stars At Night set in Night of Navy ink on white card stock and cut it out with the matching dies along with a gold foil star. I used a gold swirl gem in the center of the star to finish it off.

I just shortened the label by running it through twice.

Not a new layout, but I did use the distressed gold paper to cut out the people from the Night Divine dies. I cut the white circle from the Deckled Circles dies and stamped the sentiment from Night Divine in Night Of Navy ink and added the star trinket. I added these to a piece of O Holy Night DSP on a white base.

PP669 Beary Merry Christmas

 

Playing with a few products for Jaydee's Christmas theme over at thepaperplayers.blogspot this week! 

I decided the bear would like a scene from the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP that I cut with my Deckled Circles dies. I popped it on a piece of Pool Party card stock I had ran through with the Snowflake Sky embossing folder. I also cut some trees in white card stock from the Horse & Sleigh dies. I stamped the bear from the Beary Cute set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched him out with the matching punch. I stamped the scarf on him in Real Red ink and I stamped the hat in the same ink on a piece of white card stock and hand snipped it out for his head. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock in Real Red ink from the Beary Cute set. All was added to a white base to finish it off.

A lovely Noel card with this gorgeous paper called Joy Of Christmas DSP as the background and layered on a piece of Shaded Spruce. I cut the Shaded Spruce detailed die and the white label from the Christmas Classics dies and the letters from the Joy Of Noel dies using the Joyful specialty paper. It was a fast and simple card with no stamping if you need to make a lot quickly.
