PP557 & FF092 Happy 75th Birthday!

I immediately thought of my mom who has a big birthday coming up in October! The big 75 and it worked perfect for the number challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week and I used some elements from the pick challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com   I picked white, pearls, die cuts, and leaves. I really wanted some bling and there were several sheets of the retired Blushing Bride glimmer paper (at least I think it is Blushing Bride). I decided to pair it with Blushing Bride and Merry Merlot card stock and a white base. I ran the piece of Blushing bride card stock through the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. I cut a white Encircled In beauty large die and popped it on the background. I cut the glitter paper with the retired  Large Numbers dies and the Artistic dies. I cut apart the leaves and did not punch out the detail on the leaves. I liked them solid. I also cut some white small leaves from the Nature's Thoughts dies to add. I stamped the 'th' and the sentiments on white card stock from the retired Number of Years set in Merry Merlot ink. I cut them with the Floral Gallery scallop label dies. I finished it off with some pastel pearls.

Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Cocktails For The Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Sentiment as a focal point.” We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Nothing's Better Than set was calling to me for the challenge this month. It has great sentiments and words I love like cookies, chocolate and cocktails you can stamp or cut out with the Love You More dies! I felt like something bright so picked the Polished Pink color and than had to make a few cocktails. I challenged myself with embossing clear emboss powder on white card stock! You can't see it but I did ok lining it up the word cocktails in VersaMark ink and heating them. I then blended Polished Pink ink over to make the words to make them pop. I added it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and a Polished Pink base.
I then stamped the two cocktail glasses in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added two step Polished Pink, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green ink. I cut them out with the matching dies plus the word Cocktails in Basic Black card stock. I cut one of my cocktail glasses in half and tucked it in behind the first. I placed a strip of Polished Pink card stock on the bottom with a thin strip of Basic Black before adding my images and words. After adding my images and word, I added some black matte dots and then stamped the Kind Of Day on white card stock in Polished Pink ink which got hand snipped out.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 13th. Our theme will be Fantastic Fun Folds and 3D Projects when participants showcase fun fold cards or 3D items that will be great for any occasion. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Hello Love Of Leaves

I wanted to use more of the Beautifully Penned DSP I got for free with the SAB promo going on right now through the end of this month. I blended both Bumblebee and Cajun Craze ink with my blending brush over the black and white stripes of the paper. I added it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and a Bumblebee base.  I then cut the two circles from Layering Circles dies in white and black card stock. I stamped my leaf from the Love Of Leaves set in Bumblebee ink and sponged a little Cajun Craze ink on it before stamping on white card stock and cutting with the Stitched Leaves dies. I popped it on my circles and then added a Bumblebee dot. I stamped the hello sentiment from the same set in Cajun Craze ink and cut with the Messages dies. It is so tiny! I also had a double linen thread bow left over from another project and I sponged a little Cajun Craze ink on it and added to my leaf to finish it off.

Hope you have a lovely Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Gather Together Pretty Pumpkins

I really love the Pretty Pumpkins bundle and had to do some Stampin Blends coloring on them in Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede and Soft Succulent after stamping the image on white in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then cut them with the matching Detailed Pumpkins dies and pop them on a Stitched So sweetly cut white piece I added some Mint Macaron ink with my blending brush plus the sentiment stamped in Cajun Craze full on and off once to make lighter. I finished with some Soft Succulent gems. I layered on a piece of Soft Succulent card stock ran through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and added to the Soft Succulent base.

GDP307 Thank You For Friendship

I was thinking I need to grab some sets that I have barely touched since the annual catalog came out in May 2021. This set was perfect for the challenge this week over at global-design-project.com as it has two thankful sentiments. I used the this one stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink from the Flowers Of Friendship set on the white Scallop Contour die. I also cut a a Fresh Freesia one with the more detailed scallops from the same set and added all on the Grape base. I stamped the leaves/stems in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the leaves in light Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends marker. I then stamped the flowers on another piece of white card stock in Black and punched them out with the Flowers & Leaves punch after I colored with both  Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Stampin Blends markers. I popped them on and added some pastel pearls to the center.

Hope you have a beautiful Weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Much Gratitude For Gorgeous Leaves

While I had my baby wipe pad inked up I made another leaf card. As I said in yesterday's post, I made a stamp pad from some baby wipes and dropped Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry inks on and stamped the large leaf in and stamped on white card stock three times from the Gorgeous Leaves set. I cut them out with the matching dies called Intricate Leaves dies. I also used same to cut the detailed Rich Razzleberry leaves I layered them on. I then used the larger splatter stamp from the set in Old Olive ink on the white background. I stamped the sentiment in Razzleberry ink from the Heartfelt Wishes set on the bottom. I then layered on a piece of Razzleberry card stock and a white base.
I finished off with some genial gems in Pale Papaya.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by!
