PP526 Just Be You Flamingo

I decided to pull out my new Friendly Flamingo bundle for Laurie's tic-tac-toe challenge this week over at as I was going across the top with die-cut, animal, and scene. I have been want tong ink this set up as I love and collect flamingos. I started with the white piece of card stock and used a blending brush to blend on Seaside Spray ink. Started with lots of ink at the bottom and went very light to the top. I added this on a white base. I then stamped the water ripples at the bottom in same color. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight from the Friendly Flamingo set.
I also stamped the flamingo in Flirty Flamingo ink as well as the flowers plus I stamped three hanging vines in Granny Apple Green. One of those I stamped off to make it lighter. I cut them out with the Flamingo dies.  This lovely water scene came together so easily.

Hope you have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

  1. What is it about Flamingos that is just so appealing? I have always wondered this. Is it their gracefulness? This card is so calming and beautiful. I love the hanging vines with a pop of color too. Such a great card Windy! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players.

  2. Windy, this is sooooo pretty! Love the colors and the shaded background. Thank you so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
