This bundle called Petal Palette has served me well.
I have loved coloring the flowers and using the sentiments
in the set and the dies are so awesome. However,
it will retire in June and I will miss it.
I used it today to show off this great sketch by Claire
over at Thepaperplayers.blogspot.com and
the lovely Grapefruit Grove color.
I stamped the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black
on white and cut it out with the matching dies
called Petals & More.
I colored the flowers with my light Mint Macaron and
light Calypso Coral Stampin Blends markers.
The light Coral looks like Grapefruit and you can see above.
I layered a pearl doily behind, added a of Grapefruit
Grove Gingham Gala DSP and a white strip
with the Be Mine Stitched edgelit on the bottom.
I stamped the sentiment from Very Vintage in Black ink
then ran a piece of Grapefruit Grove sheer ribbon around
before layering on the Grapefruit card stock and the white base.
I finished it off with a sweet sheer bow.
Please head over to thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
to play along with the sketch challenge this week!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed Sunday!
