FMS470 Always & Forever Wedding Card

The sketch challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com came at the right time as I had to make a wedding card this week. I grabbed the Merry Merlot as that is the color of the wedding my daughter and I are attending this weekend. I also used Rococo Rose plus gold. I started with the Merlot base and added a piece of Rococo Rose then a layer of the Golden Garden acetate over the top. It is hard to capture a good photo when using foil and acetate or anything shiny really. I then stamped the sentiment from Forever Blossoms in VeraMark ink on a piece of Merry Merlot card stock and heat embossed it in gold emboss powder. I punched it with the new Double Oval punch and then cut a gold foil oval from Layering Ovals dies to go behind. I stamped the flowers and leaves on white card stock in Memento Black ink and colored them with the Rococo Rose and Old Olive Stampin Blends markers. I cut them with the matching dies called Cherry Blossoms dies.

Hope you have a lovely Monday and thanks for stopping by!
