FabFri188 Collect Beautiful Moments

I wanted to use some of the Grapefruit rove DSP but the 

color is set to retire in June. 

I grabbed this print and layered it on a white base.

I then stared at my stamp sets and finally decided I wanted to 

up my Waterfront set for the color challenge over at 

fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com

I stamped on the white Stitched Nested Label for the scene.

I used Pool Party for the water, Blushing Bride for the land, 

Bermuda Bay for the palms, Sahara Sand for trunks and 

Grapefruit Grove for the sun. 

I stamped the sentiment in Bay from the Beautiful Moments set.

I layered another label die in Bay and ran some 

thick Grapefruit Grove twine around and made a tie.

I finished it off with a few Grapefruit Grove gems. 

I like the bright colors together..makes for happy scene!

PP488 Happy Mother's Day Parfum

Yes, this is for my mom and she is getting parfum for 

Mother's Day next week, too.

Perfect timing for the sketch over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com 

I started with the Best Dressed DSP and layered on a Daffodil Delight base.

I then cut a Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle from Petal pink card stock.

I stamped the sentiment from Dressed To Impress set

 in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. 

I stamped the flowers and bottle in thick Whisper White car stock

with Memento Black ink and colored them with my Stampin Blends markers.

I used Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron, and Daffodil Delight.

I cut them with the matching dies called All Dressed Up.

I then added some leaves from Nature's Thoughts dies in Mint.

I finish it off with pearls, of course!

I wanted to use this Parisian Beauty bundle again

 before it retires in June 2020.

I pulled out three purples to work the sketch challenge over at 

casethissketch.blogspot.com 

I stamped at bottom of white background Purple Posy, the line 

of Highland Heather then a line of Gorgeous Grape,

I stamped the sentient in Grape. 

I then stamped the tower in Grape on Purple Posy card stock and 

cut it with the matching die. 

It needed more so I stamped the Fleur de Lis in Grape on white card 

stock and cut it with matching die to layer on the middle of tower.

I used a Gorgeous Grape base.

I finished it off with a few Purple Posy gems.

Playing along with a fun sketch over at

 freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com today 

and my Timeless tropical bundle.

I used Mango Melody base and ran another piece of that 

same color through with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder.

I added some braided linen trim on plus a die cut in Calypso Coral card stock.

I then stamped the flower on shimmer white card stock in

Stazon Saddle Brown. I water colored with my aqua painter 

and three colors-Mango Melody, Grapefruit Grove and Real Red.

I cut some leaves in Old Olive to finish it off.

My first play with the By The Dock bundle.

I used a piece of shimmer white paper to water color a few colors.

for water-Bermuda Bay and sky-Mango Melody.

I stamped the birds from Beautiful Moments set 

in the sky in Early Espresso ink.

I then stamped the dock and the boat in Memento Tuxedo Black ink

and colored them with Stampin Blends markers.

I cut them with the matching dies called Dockside

and popped them up on the water.

I cut a banner in white and stamped in Early Espresso ink

the sentiment from the set.

I layered on a white base to keep it clean and simple.

GDP237 Harry Is Here For You

For the color challenge over at global-design-project.com 

I thought of Harry the octopus and need to stamp him in Melon Mambo. 

I grabbed my Sea Of Textures set and stamp him and cut him out

with the Under The Sea dies.

I then stamped the background on white with the textured stamp

in Mint Macaron 5 times.

 I layered all on a piece of Night of Navy and then a Mint base. 

I cut the net in Navy making sure not all the pieces came out for 

extra texture and stamped the sentiment in Navy

from the By The Dock set. 

A few Mambo dots to finish it off.

FF0057 Get Well Balloons

As soon as I read the list this week for the 

challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com 

I focused on the balloons and thought when was the last time 

I used my Above The Clouds bundle? 

I used Balloons, Blue, Red and get well sentiment.

I stamped up first my E clear block with some 

Balmy Blue ink and stamped it on a piece of Whisper White.

I then stamped the clouds from the set on white in Balmy

 but when cut them out by hand I flipped them to the white side

to add to my background.

I then stamped the sentiment from Timeless Tulips set in 

Blueberry Bushel ink.

I stamped the balloons and baskets in Blueberry and Poppy Parade

and punched them with the Hot Air Balloon builder punch.

I finished them off with a Poppy Parade glimmer dot and layered on a white base.

PP487 Sparkle Ornate Style

I really liked this after assembling with no sentiment..can use for many occasions!

I watched video from Alisa Tilsner at alisatilsner.com in Australia

when she colored her Ornate Style florals.  I tried to do it.

I stamped the florals on a piece of thick Whisper White card stock

in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with many Stampin Blends markers.

I used Lovely Lipstick and Rococo Rose on the large flowers. 

I used Old Olive along with Mossy Meadow on the leaves.

I added to the small flowers some So Saffron and Daffodil Delight.

I finally used Seaside Spray and Mango Melody on the daisies.

I hand snipped this out (as you can tell..not great job) and added to a piece of 

Blushing Bride glimmer paper-retired- for the sparkle challenge

over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com this week.

I added a layer of white ran thought with the Ornate Layers dies

and finally paced on the Old Olive base.

Love the Best Dressed suite!

I started with the floral background and picked this one 

from the Best Dressed DSP then layered on Purple 

Posy card stock and Mint Macaron base.

I stamped the bottles from Dressed To Impress set on white
card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink
and colored them with the Stampin Blends markers.
I used Mint Macaron, Purple Posy, So Saffron, and Petal Pink.
They were cut from the All Dressed Up dies.
For the sentiment, I grabbed from Timeless Tulips and stamp
with Black on the Purple Posy label from the All Dressed dies.
I finished with some pearls.

FMS431 Timeless Friendship

This print looks like the perfect timeless photo and so 

it the perfect background for a cool card.

I used the Tropical Oasis DSP for the brown background

on the white base and then the other side for the cars.

I layered a piece of Old Olive behind.

I then stamped the sentiment from Timeless Tropical 

in Early Espresso ink and the strip of Pool Party.

I added some leaf trinkets to finish it off.

GDP236 Peek-a-boo Birdie

I love how Janneke did not put a sentiment on her 

design and so I left mine the same as well as picked up on colors 

and the floral layout.

 Check out more on the global-design-project.com site.

I grabbed some designer paper from Bird Ballad and added to the white base.

I then cut the Stitched So sweetly large die with Whisper White.

I stamped the bird from Free As A Bird set in Memento Tuxedo Black

on white card stock and colored it with Daffodil Delight

and Mango Melody Stampin Blends and cut him by hand.

I then used the flowers and leaves from Forever Blossoms 

because they have dies-no hand snipping them!

I stamped the flowers and leaves on white in same ink

and colored them with Old Olive on leaves and Calypso Coral 

on the on the flowers. 

I finished with coloring the rhinestones with the Daffodil blends

marker and added to the flowers and the bottom.

I started with stamping the image and sentiment from Beautiful

Moments set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on shimmer white card stock.

I water color with the colors from the challenge with my aqua painter- 

So Saffron on the dress, Gray Granite on the sand,

 hair and flowers and Seaside Spray for the sky.

 I cut it with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I layered it on  a piece of Spray card stock ran through with the 

Ornate Floral embossing folder and then layered on white piece and a Granite base.

I love this Coastal Weave embossing folder!

I used it here with So Saffron card stock and layered it on the white base.

I then cut three strips from the awesome designer paper called 

Tropical Oasis and added them a slight bit apart.

I then stamped the flower from Timeless tropical set in 

Stazon Saddle Brown ink on shimmer white card stock

and water color with Grapefruit Grove and So Saffron inks and 

my aqua painter.

I cut several leaves along with the flower with the

Into The Tropics dies.

I used both Old Olive and Shaded spruce greens.

I stamped the last strip with the sentiment from 

Timeless Tropical in the Stazon Brown on white card stock.

I added the trinket flower plus a gold gem to center of flower to finish it off.

I pulled out my retired Calypso Coral embossing power

and used the new Ornate Style stamp.

I inked up the large flower stamp in VersaMark ink

and stamped on the Stitched Nested Label in Very Vanilla card stock.

I heat embossed it with my heat tool.

I stamped the small flower in Memento Tuxedo Black ink

on Very Vanilla and then hand snipped it out. 

I colored it with Stampin Blends markers in Calypso 

Coral plus Granny Apple Green.

I stamped the sentiment from Ornate Thanks set on a 

die from All Dressed Up. 

I added these to the Calypso Coral background which is 

embossed with the new Ornate Floral emboss folder.  

I finished it off adding to the Very Vanilla base.

I designed this card for a friend and customer who wanted 

70 of these for volunteers and leaders at our Bible Study. 

I made all 70 a few weeks ago and tried my hand at an 

infinity shot (photo). 

Anyway, I love how they turned out and hope they 

bless many others! 

I used a white base and layered the Parisian Flourish 

embossed Pool Party on for the background.

I stamped the large cherry blossoms from Forever Blossoms

in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the matching die.

I sponged on Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam ink. 

I cut the Petal Pink detailed label die from Stitched Labels dies

and added the sentiment from All Things Thanks set-retired in Memento Black

on white card stock and cut with die from Smooth Sailing dies.

I finished off with pearls.

GDP235 Happy Ornate Spring

I love blue and yellow together so this was an easy color combo

for my spring card over at global-design-project.com this week.

I stamped the new set called Ornate Style which is part of a suite 

which will be in the new annual catalog in June. 

I stamped the flower twice in Memento Tuxedo Black on the 

Stitched So Sweetly white die along with the sentiment from 

Timeless Tulips set. 

I colored them with Mango Melody and So Saffron Stampin Blends 

markers along with Granny Apple Green fro the leaves/stem. 

I layered it on the Balmy Blue frame from Ornate Layers dies

part of the the same new suite. I also used a new EF called 

Ornate Floral with my white background. 

I layered all on the Balmy Blue base and finished it 

off with some pearls.

PP485 Wild About You

I had fun doing this card for LeAnne's theme challenge this week over at 

thepaperplayers.blogspot.com 

I grabbed my Animal Outing bundle along with the Hammered Metal EF.

I used the embossing folder with Crumb Cake and then layered 

it on a Crumb Cake base.

I ran the detailed die from Animal Friends dies with holes through twice

 on the strip of Soft Suede and layered it on the strip of Crushed Curry.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on a white stitched

oval and layered it on the cute label shape from Stitched So Sweetly dies.
I then stamped the giraffes in Memento on white card stock and
colored them with the Mango Melody and Soft Suede Stampin Blends markers.
I cut them with the matching dies called Animal Friends.
 Also from those dies I cut the Soft Suede leaves.
It turned out so cute.

FF0056 Hugs Prayers Love

I went for yellow, ribbon, and bugs/insects for the 

challenge over at festivefridaychallenge.com 

I was going to do loads of only yellow shades but then remembered 

how much I like the purple-my fav color- with yellow. 

I did use Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry along with 

both Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

I started with a white base and a piece of Daffodil Delight 

designer paper from the Brights DSP paper pack. 

I then cut the white rectangle from the Nature's Thoughts dies.

I stamped the stem three times in Daffodil ink and the sentiment from

Positive Thoughts set in Gorgeous Grape.

I then stamped the butterfly in Crushed Curry and the 

two flowers in Grape and Heather on a piece of white card stock

and cut them out with the matching dies. 

I ran some Crushed Curry seam binding ribbon around and made a bow. 

I finished with the Grape glitter dots.

CTS366 Celebrate Moments

I made this for a best friend who had a birthday Sunday!

We both love the beach and thought of her and me there.

She is brown headed and I am blonde and she is a little taller than me. 

Anyway, I am glad I got this set called Beautiful Moments to color.

I decided to watercolor here on Shimmery white card stock cut 

with the stitched square.

I pulled out my aqua painter and a few ink colors. 

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black.

I used Crumb Cake to do the sand, Pool party for the 

sky, Calypso Coral for the buckets, Crushed curry for one hair and

Soft Suede for the other. I finished with a very diluted Sahara Sand

to pull a little color on the face and body parts.

I layered the piece of Calypso Coral ran through

the Subtles embossing folder on top of the strip of 

Tropical Oasis DSP in a Pool Party print. 

All went on the Crumb Cake base.

I used the sentiment from Honey Bee set on a white banner in 

Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added the rhinestone colored 

with a Pool Party Stampin Blend marker to finish it off. 

Inside, I did stamp Happy Birthday but did not take a photo of the inside.

FMS429 Greatest Guy

I decided to pull out my Country Club Suite for this sketch

challenge over at freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com 

I grabbed this print called Country Club DSP and used the 

Night of Navy, Garden Green, and white colors.

I started with the Night of Navy base and added the layer of 

Garden Green card stock plus a top layer of white.

I cut the strip of DSP 1 /3/4" for the right side. 

I stamped the sentiment from the Clubhouse set in Green on the white front left.

I then stamped again on a piece of Navy with VersaMark ink

and heat embossed in white. I then cut with the matching banner 

die from the Golf Club dies and popped it up. 

I also cut the white golf balls from those same dies.

I stamped the golfer from same set in Navy and cut him with matching die

to pop up on a Navy stitched circle.

I kept it simple and clean!

I made these up quick for a friends grandchildren last week. 

I took some retired 6" by 6" designer paper in bright colors

and did a diaper fold. I added the bunny from 

Welcome Easter set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black

and colored just with the Petal Pink Stampin Blend marker.

I hand cut them out to pop on the treat holder.

I put some Sour Patch bunny treat packages inside.

GDP234 Hello Lily Pad

I decided to use more of my Lily Impressions DSP for the 

sketch challenge this week over at 

global-design-project.com 

It looks to life like and so textured.

I layered this print on the white card stock.

I then cut a 1 1/2" banner in white card stock and stamped the 

sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia in Pretty Peacock ink.

I stamped the lily pad in same ink on the Pretty Peacock

card stock. I stamped the lily from the same set called Lovely Lily Pad.

The lily was stamped on white in Memento Tuxedo Black and 

colored with my Pretty Peacock and Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends.

I then cut them out with the matching Lily Pad dies. 

I finished it off with some Pretty Peacock gems.

PP484 Happy Spring

I challenge myself to use ribbon for the 

tic-tac-toe challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com 

 I just have not been reaching for it lately.

I decided to go diagonally ribbon, spring, flowers.

I got to use some new dies that SU! is offering early from the 

new annual catty that starts in June. 

They are called Ornate Layers dies and there is large suite of items

and a few stamp sets. 

I used one for the Gorgeous Grape that layered on the white base.

I then used another in Purple Posy..really like this one!

I then stamped my tulips from Timeless tulips 

in both Grape and Posy inks on white card stock.

I punched the large tulips with the Tulip builder punch.

I hand snipped the small tulips.

I stamped on white the leaves and stems in Mint Macaron.

 I used the punch for the leaves but hand snipped the stems. 

They seem a little straight. 

I added the Grape striped bow.

The sentiment was stamped on a label die from Stitched Labels dies

and I stamped just the two words from a larger sentiment in the 

Timeless Tulips set.
