I love these colors together; however, 

I went blank on what to do for this color challenge this week!

I decided to pick a stamp set and pick one of the 

colors and just stamp one.  Then it just kind fell together.  

I have mailed it to my mom for 4th of July!

Seaside Day!

I love the card I did a few weeks ago for a color challenge. 

 Many sweet comments left on my blog said they loved the 

porthole look so I decided I had to continue for the third card

for my card class next week!

I also love the seaside emboss folder but you must remember to 

stamp the words first and then run the emboss folder!

I also love the colors I used which were picked up from the 

Seaside Shore suite in the new SU! catalog.

PP301 O, Happy Day Bird!

I started with coloring my bird.
  I looked at a picture a Pal from my stamping group posted.
I used Smoky Slate and Watermelon Wonder to watercolor
one of the birds from Best Birds stamp set.
I love the "scratchy" background so had to use it again behind the bird!
I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and matching punch for
my sentiment.

Born to Ride Birthday!

This is my second card for classes next week!

The motorcycle, birthday sentiment and tire tracks are stamped on Very Vanilla.

I then stamped the Born to Ride on Vanilla and cut out with the Bunch of Banners

framelits dies.

The Pumpkin Pie background is emboss with a new folder

 called Sparkle.

I think this folder would look cool in Silver foil paper. 

I will have to try it soon.

There are a few other sentiments if the class members 

do not want it as a birthday card.

I choose Pumpkin Pie and Black for Harley Davidson colors!

Happy Birthday Sweet Blue Bird!

This is the first card for my July card classes coming up next week!

I struggled over what color I want to color my bird for class. 

 I have some bird lovers that would want a realistic color for the bird 

though I love purple and was what I wanted to color him.

I texted one of those bird lovers and she said blue

. I played around with colors and decided on 

Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky and So Saffron on the bird. 

I stamped the background in Soft Sky and colored the branch

in Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz.

The flowers and the bird are die cut using the matching dies 

called Bird & Blooms thinlits dies.

Bless Your Heart

I had my Jar of Love stamp set out to design a card for my 

upcoming classes and decided to whip up a card for my mom.

I stamped the jar in Bermuda Bay and then stamped the lid in Smoky Slate.

The lid is cut using the matching dies cuts called Everyday Jars.

I stamped hearts (and one heart was a little messed up) in Rose Red

and Blushing Bride.

I used my hearts emboss folder and a cute clip from the retired

embellishments to finish it off. 

It makes card designing so easy to have so much that coordinates together!

This card measures 4 1/4" sq.

FMS242 I'm Here For You!

I started with my fav new set from 

the SU! 2016-2017 annual catalog-Touches of Texture! 

I stamped the background first and then used the layering

flower and cut with circle framelits and 1 3/4' circle punch. 

It is awesome to have so many elements all right in one set

so I could use them all together to create the sketch!

I used the aqua painter to color a little on my dragonfly!  

I love dragonflies!

But you probably already remember that!

The sentiment is from You've Got This stamp set.

Just back from vacation and my mind is mush.

My daughter said hey, "I like these colors together"

Double Trouble With Moroccan Nights!

I am finishing up more pieces from class last week. 

 I designed the bottom card very similar to original except 

for the ribbon placement and I used  a sentiment from the 

Best Birds stamp set at bottom of card!

The top card I used a wonderful verse from Rose Wonder stamp set 

along with a cute shape from Moroccan Nights!

I stamped the candle piece twice to make the candle long

and I did not have to worry about getting it layered 

perfectly since the banners were going over them!

You knew I would have something sea themed today!

I could not wait to play with the new Seaside Shore stamp set
 and well, the whole suite actually!
I started with white embossing on the Island Indigo card stock.
I then cut a circle out of top and stamped some cool fish and sea grass for inside.
I hand cut the Ahoy There which I stamped with Pool Party
on Pool Party card stock!
Love how it came together...just like in my head!

Just add a sentiment and you are all done!

I added Congratulations from Flourishing Phrases stamp set

with a sweet in color enamel heart also in Sweet Sugarplum!

Hello Jar Of Love!

Love the Jar Of Love set!  I used the largest jar in the set here.

I also used the "water" stamp I finally noticed to add water to my jar!

Funny how you can look at something several times 

before you notice something you did not see before!

I stamped a few of the flowers in the set 

and cut them with the awesome matching dies!

This set and matching dies have MANY pieces to keep with but so fun!

I popped the jar up on a brick wall...did the backside of the wall as 

I call it! Added some retired sequins for a little bling!
